2005 rav4 was taken off of the road last fall. It has a current RI inspection sticker good through 5/17. Engine runs fine and doesn't make noise. Needs a transmission or transmission work. It will back up fine on flat ground. It will slip in reverse and won't back up a hill or it will slip in reverse if you give it throttle very hard. It also needs a new serpentine belt. The belt is very brittle and starting to shed pieces. The battery is brand new in the fall. I started the car today moved it forward and back and let it idle to charge the battery. The 4-tires are also brand new with less than 100 miles on them purchased in the fall. $500 for tires and battery. Look at the pictures and ask questions if you'd like. it 's missing the gray plastic body trim on the drivers side. Small dent in the passenger front fender lip. No tears or rips in the seats. Bottom of the doors are rust free. Bottom of the undercarriage looks pretty good. Light scratches on the hood, no gouges or dents. Steel wheels are rusty on the outer edges. One thing that isn't in the pictures is that the windshield had a crack on the passenger side bottom left thats about as long as an open hand - 6-8". has a small chip in the center of the crack. Dent in the front of the bumper on the drivers side. Sway bar bushings need to be replaced. I'm pretty sh=ure the brakes in the front were done last year as well. I try to do the best I can with the description and show everything that's not perfect. I'm selling as is, no warranties. It may or may not need some things that I can't see or hear. It does have 222000+ miles on it, but the engine sounds good. Other Terms: please make a $500 deposit via paypal within 48 hours of auction ending. It's up to the winning buyer to secure transportation and delivery. I'd use a ramp truck based on the transmission and serpentine belt. Remainder of the payment (Cash or Certified Check or Paypal) is due within 7-10 business days of auction ending M-F. On the11th day I'll relist it. No personal checks or business checks please. I reserve the right to cancel the bid if the bidder has zero feedback, or if the bidder has enough negative buyer feedback that I feel there's going to be a problem. I'll also cancel the transaction if the deposit isn't received within 48 hours of the winning bid.Sorry folks, I've had dealings with a couple of deadbeats that I thought I was doing a favor for. Three times is not a charm in this case so if you're not 100% serious about the purchase don't bid please. Don't play bid to see where the price goes then disappear once you won. Don't give a deposit then say I'll pay in a month when I come get the car, and that becomes two months, or three months. I'll refund your deposit and cancel the transaction on the 11th day.
