1985 Jaguar XJS V-12 engine 84,022 miles original miles. Car has not been registered or driven since 2002. I bought the car to restore but have too many projects. I had to decide which ones to sell and the Jaguar was chosen. This is a great project car and could be a show piece with some work . The car body is in excellent condition. No rust or bondo in it. Under carriage is in great shape. Body needs no work at all. Interior needs some attention. Seats and dash are weather faded and could use some TLC or replacement. Brakes are good and in working condition. Tires have good tread and holds air but sidewalls have some dry cracking. Now the mechanical. Car needs mechanical work. The car appears to have a mind of it’s own. Sometimes it will start and run good. Idles fine, revs up and sounds strong. Sometimes it will start and appear to be running on less than 12 cylinders, runs rough. Other times will not start at all. Because the car has been sitting I have done the following to it; Drain gas tank and place new gas in it. New fuel pump and filters. Complete tune up with cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires New alternator and belt New ignition relay I am taking offers on the vehicle.
