Hello, this is my m38 willys jeep. Let me start by telling you I am by no means and expert on these but I am a professional mechanic.With that said the willys runs and drives very well. It has recently had all brake parts and axle seals replaced.It shifts and steers well and front end is tight. The tires are also new.It does have a few things that I know need attention such as the speedometer and fuel gauge are inoperable, the horn does not work, nor does the parking brake. I am not sure of the originality of the jeep but I have a friend who is knowledgeable on these and they feel the frame has been replaced with a cj and it does have solex carb and the oil and temp gauges have been replaced. The willys still has a 24 volt system but has a converter and runs a 12 volt ignition.The previous owner told me the motor was redone and it does run well with no smoke or leaks.
