hello there Austin healey collectors , here is a really neat car , this car is a very nice and very fast 1959 Austin Healey 100/6 because it started out as a 6 cylinder Austin and it now has a professionally installed v8 ford 289 and ford 4 speed manual transmission. the car appears stock and it has the original frame and suspension, the car has steel front fenders, doors, hood and trunk , but the rear fenders are fiberglass reproductions, the cowl is also reproduction fiberglass . It has been completely refurbished several years ago, I bought it as you see it so I don't know when it was restored exactly . I have owned many healeys and every other old sports car for that matter and this car is really a great mix , it has almost cobra performance with the beauty of an Austin healey . it is not a kit car , the pictures tell the story it is a modified 59 100 6 , the car starts right up shifts nicely but it is made for a fairly tall person as the pedals are deep in the footwells but you can easily adjust the genuine leather seat , it has a top but it is missing the top frame, also has the tonneau cover . no windows, speedo does not work , the doors do not line up perfectly but could be adjusted if you must have perfection any questions call jay at 956 624 2669 it sounds mello not to loud but just right great car , I can help to arrange shipping around the world thanks again this car has a California REASSIGNED VIN NUMBER and a clear texas title , so it might have been stolen and recoverd at some point , totally legal and police checked On Mar-20-17 at 19:52:54 PDT, seller added the following information: the chassis looks like new and is painted just like the car , this car has been totally professionally restored at some point . these are real knock off wheels , so you can put on wire wheels if you want ,
