1965 Ford Falcon 2 Door Wagon 289 Challenger Factory 289 V8 Auto (see data tag) with factory A/C Body-Wagon Exterior-Blue Model-Falcon Trim- 2 Door Wagon, Challenger Engine-289 Drive Type-Cruise-O-Matic 3 Speed Listing this for my buddy Phil. Rare 1965 Ford Falcon 2 Door Wagon 289 Challenger, with the Cruise-O-Matic transmission and factory A/C. This is a rare bird with only 4,891 produced in 1965 and with these options, most certainly lowers that number. This wagon is a true survivor that looks to be repainted in the 80’s. It is a one owner vehicle from California and still has the original CA black plates. Vehicle is currently registered runs and drives with a clear CA title in Phil's name (no scams). It had been non-op’d in 1993 and parked by the wife when her husband passed. Vehicle was gone through and made road worthy with new parts. This is a very dry California car. There is no rust in the floors or the rockers. The only place is the spare tire well that has been attacked by a few holes. Everything works in the vehicle as it should, except the cigarette lighter and dome light. All fluids were changed, tires replaced, exhaust replaced and brake lines, to make it a safe driver. This vehicle can be driven as is or is an excellent candidate for a restoration.
