2001 Ford Explorer Sport 2 door 4x4. This truck was running fine and every worked until last week. The truck turns over but will not start. My mechanic said the timing belt slipped or broke. It must be towed. Sold as is.On Mar-26-17 at 02:18:17 PDT, seller added the following information: This is my wife's truck and she just reminded me that the tailgate still opens but the latch lever rod broke and needs to be replaced. It still can be opened after pressing the rear lock button to open the tailgate window. The inside plastic rear tailgate panel is just partially opened on top allowing you access by to manually open it. Once you close the tailgate it still stays automatically locked with no problem.
