Here for your consideration is an unrestored 1978 Ford King Cobra Mustang. This car has been in California all of it's life until I purchased it. There are NO rust holes anywhere on this car. The brown areas visible on the car are surface rust only, where the paint has faded away. There have been no touch-ups to the paint. It is all original. I rebuilt the original C-4 automatic transmission when I bought the car. It runs and drives very well. All gauges are working, but the temp gauge is not reading correctly. I feel that the tires may need to be replaced due only to their age. There are no cracks and the tread is great, but they are over ten years old. I drive here locally on them with no problem. I bought the car from the nephew of the original owner. The paper work and documents included with this are extensive. This car was also heavily optioned, as indicated by the marti report. The interior is also all original, as well as the engine and underhood components. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time due to the fact that it is also for sale locally. This car is sold as is. It is the responsibility of the new owner to provide transportation to it's new home.
