DO NOT buy an SL65 AMG without an EXTENDED WARRANTY! You are looking at a pristine example of a supercar. My 2005 Mercedes Benz SL65AMG is an 8/10 on a scale of perfect. It has a few expected rock chips here and there but the engine bay looks brand new, and the interior as well. Here are some highlights of the car. Mechanically the car is a 10/10 right now with zero issues.Interior is a 10/10 for a 12 year old car.Exterior is an 8/10 for a couple of rock chips and one small wheel issue, see below. The paint is near perfect otherwise. -Completely clean carfax. -Completely stock the vehicle makes 604hp/738 Torque. Modified/Tuned to over 700hp.-Vehicle originally sold for about $200,000 and was the most powerful convertible ever produced at that time.- Vehicle has a FIDELITY PLATINUM Extended warranty for 44k more miles or 4 years from 10/28/15 when it was purchased. This is the BEST warranty available. (Note, there will be a $40 transfer fee for the warranty, payable by the buyer.) Warranty cost $7000.- All service records have been kept for this vehicle and can be produced on demand.- All major issues that go wrong with the car have gone wrong and been fixed, Coil Packs, ABC pump, motor mounts, Intercooler pump, etc. Already done. -Brakes were just done a year ago with new front rotors, this is a 2500.00 brake job that has already been done.- Car has been ECU tuned by RaceIQ. It comes with a handheld tuner to flash it back to stock. Estimated horsepower is above 700. Torque is well above 800 lb/ft.-Transmission has been tuned by RaceIQ. It shifts faster, firmer, and no hesitations.-Professionally fabricated SS Downpipes have been installed. (Factory catalysts come with the car and can be put back on by an exhaust shop.)-Mufflers have been deleted for better engine sound quality, they come with the car.-Car has a $1500 Bluetooth Adapter for the factory COMAND system for streaming audio from any bluetooth device.-Intercooler pump has been upgraded to BOSCH for higher flow and keeps the factory intercoolers from heatsoaking.-BMC Drop in air filters have been installed for higher performance from better airflow.-Car has 19" chromed SL55 wheels. (The only real issue with this car is that the passenger side front wheel needs a rechrome, it is peeling in a couple of spots.)-Tires are at 80+ percent and are Yokohama Advans.-Vehicle has a clear bra installed to protect the front end.- I would consider a trade but it needs to be something like a Nissan GTR + Cash, or a Toyota MKIV Supra. What can I say that already hasn't been said about this vehicle. It runs and drives like brand new. On the road, it is a Mercedes Benz, it has all the comforts available, but when you need the power, there's more than enough available with 700+ Horsepower. This car has been babied, always garaged, hardly ever driven and always polished and detailed.
