Vehicle Detail
This is one of the nicest, lowest mileage GS750s I have ever owned. Pictures were taken late last summer just before a major service. The pictures are a fair representation of how the bike looks. Paint and chrome are excellent and original. There is some typical peeling of clearcoat off the case covers. Body work is excellent. There is a shallow dent on the top of the right muffler. Speedometer needle and tach are slow to react, but these can be serviced by a gauge specialist, and this issue is typical and minor. They otherwise function perfectly. Everything on the bike works including all electrics. Tires have about a thousand miles on them and are less than 3 years old. Service last fall included: New fuel linesNew quality in-line fuel filterAir box was disassembled, cleaned, new K&N air filter installed, and airbox was re-sealed.Carburetors were removed, disassembled down to the carb body, ultrasonically cleaned, dipped in parts cleaner on metal parts only, ultrasonically cleaned again, cleaned carb spray and with compressed air. Original Mikuni jets were cleaned and reused. New o-rings were used everywhere along with fresh grease where required. I've done maybe 20 of these over the years.Boots on intake manifold were soft and pliable and airtight, so I kept these and I replaced the intake manifold o-rings.New spark plugs were fittedI did a valve adjustment and only a 3 of 8 were slightly out of spec. I rearranged and replaced shims and now all are perfectly within spec. New valve cover gasket installed.I synchronized the carbs with a Carbtune vacuum gauge and tuned the air/fuel mixture. The prior year, I serviced the front brake. I disassembled the caliper, cleaned it, fitted a new NOS brake piston and new seals and o-rings. New brake fluid. Good to go. The bike runs and shifts great. There are no disappointments on this bike and no needs. This is collector quality and very rare in this mileage and condition. I'd like to sell this to make some room for something else. I can work with your shipper or I can make a recommendation. Send me any questions and I will call you back or email you if you prefer. xs, kz, cb, gsx, gpz, cx
