1953 Sunbeam Alpine

This is a 1953 Sunbeam Alpine that I purchased from the niece of the original owner who bought it new. It has spent its entire existence in central California until I bought it. It has not been started for at least 15 or 20 years, but turns over and nothing appears to be frozen. It shifts through all the gears. This is a very original car, the only departure from originality I could find being the change from column-mounted shifter to floor shifter. The engine and transmission are original, according to niece of the original owner. I looked this car over very carefully and could not find a single rust hole anywhere, top or bottom. Nor could I find any evidence of a collision repair. The original color appears to have been a light metallic blue, and the previous owner told me she thought the original interior color was white. The car comes with both sets of original, matching numbers keys, which are still in very nice condition. Buyer will be given the California Title I received when I purchased the car, along with a Bill of Sale.
