This special one of a kind Wrangler was purchased new from the Jeep factory and driven for 12,000 miles. It was then sent to AEV factory (American Exploration Vehicles) in Michigan to:Install the monster 5.7 Liter Hemi Conversion kitAll their world’s best componentry like their custom steel bumpers, rear tire holder, heat exchange hood, etcThis is THE MOTOR that should be a factory option from Jeep but, is not available. It changes the Jeep experience in all right ways and turns it into a beast of a machine! IT GETS MASSIVE ATTENTION! It is very very common that I am followed home and people ask if it’s a real AEV conversion, what kind of motor, etc. They hear the exhaust note (perfectly tuned custom dual magnaflows) and immediately know it’s not an average Jeep. OVERALL CONDITION: I would rate this Jeep a 8.5/10. It has been babied by me in the suburbs and brought to another level of quality and finish over the past year. Go absolutely anywhere mechanical confidence plus the power and extras to get you into places nobody else has ever seen! Biggest ISSUE worth noting is the rust on the bumpers. Both the front and rear (and spare tire holder) are rusted in the corners of the welds. It never really mattered to me since the rest of the Jeep looks so perfect that from 10', you may think it's a show truck. Blasting and powder coating both bumpers should cost no more than $500-600. Custom made smoked plexiglass bikini top panels (front and rear) that bolt through the factory bolt holes, can withstand a ton of weight and is hands down the best summer Jeep top option ever created. I will try to add pics of the top on the Jeep later this week. CB radio: CB Hook up all fully wired to interior from antenna hook up to underneath passenger seat. Just need antenna screwed in and plug your radio in. Significant Add-ons: Hot Heads Headliner insertsInstalled throughout interior panels of the hard top. For those that don’t know, these are expensive and keep you cool during summer and warm during cold weather. It certainly helps reduce road noise as well. They are custom made black high density foam inserts covered in black fabric that fit in the hollow of the interior of the freedom hard top panels (all the way around, including windows). Do a search for them online if you want to read more (Hot heads Jeep headliner). Full body floor sound insulation barrierInstalled by completely removing the interior of the Jeep and had material hand laid against the entire floor up to the window sils and interior fire wall (from Hot Heads as well) that killed lots of the extra cab noise created by the 5.7 Hemi motor. Brand new luxury leather interior seatingOver $2,000 invested. The best Katzen Leather Original Jeep Kit professionally installed. Original seat covers come with Jeep as well. Mechanically: (Have all receipts)This Jeep runs perfectly and has no issues whatsoever from a performance perspective. I change oil every year regardless of mileage and am otherwise overly cautious in all ways relative to maintenance. This is my daily commuter vehicle for work and I find it to be perfectly suited for that sort of use New heavy duty radiator ($1,300)New steering box ($1,100)New steering stabilizer ($200)Very slight main seal oil leak (that has been mechanic reviewed, not enough volume to be of concern)I cannot guarantee that this vehicle will pass emissions. It has had challenges here in Illinois. AEV seems confident that they can re-program this to get past the issue for $3k (not to exceed) in programming if you are in a state that requires such.
