This Era Of The Upscale LeMans Was A Huge Turning Point For Pontiac. Fickle Buyers Had Demanded Larger “Compacts” And So, The “Intermediate” A-Body Car Was Born At GM. While This LeMans Has Been Done As A Tribute To The GTO Takes Nothing Away From The Fact That They Are Collectible Automobiles Either Way.
