No zero or low-feedback buyers without contacting me first. You may call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions. Buy it now price is firm at $4,250.00; I've priced the truck low to sell quickly. Up for sale is an unmolested original survivor 1974 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Trailer Special pickup truck. This is a two-owner dry high-desert truck with no rust-through issues, original paint and interior, in good original condition. Details as follows: Original 1974 F-250 Trailer Special with the top-of-the-line Ranger XLT trim package in factory two-tone Medium Lime Green Metallic and cream two-tone paint; a classic color combination. The paint is original, and the truck has no rust-through issues anywhere. Overall straight body panels with only a few minor dings and dents. Nice Ranger XLT stainless trim, nice grilles, original bumpers and factory trailer mirrors, etc. There is a minor dent under the driver's side tail lamp, a small bump in the passenger front fender, and a repaired CB antenna mount on the roof. The truck has a new front windshield, new windshield gasket, new rear glass gasket, and good original side and rear glass. A very good-looking truck that still turns heads wherever it goes; you just don't see this color combo any more. The Lime Green Metallic was part of Ford's "Spring Special" colors during this era. The steel wheels are the factory originals, and wear the original hubcaps, three of which are very nice, one of which is dented. The engine is the original 390 V8 with 84,532 miles. Upgrades include an aluminum 4v intake manifold and new Edelbrock 4v carburetor. Runs well, good oil pressure, no bottom end or valve train noise, smooth acceleration. The truck drives very well, tracks straight down the road, and steers easily with the factory power steering. The power brake system has been rebuilt and it brakes well. Other options include factory AC (complete but needing service to operate), factory dual fuel tanks, and rare first-year Trailer Special heavy-duty tow and trailer package. Please note the very nice-looking heavy-duty step bumper with receiver hitch. The rear end is the Dana 60 with 3.54 gears and a Limited Slip third member. The interior seat upholstery looks nice and features the original vinyl and cloth bench, which has a split seam and small tear on the driver's bottom cushion. The interior also features original door panels, dash, headliner, and carpet. All are in decent usable original survivor condition. The heater, heater, lights, turn signals, wipers, gauges, etc. are in working condition. The heater fan was working and is now not; I'll check the fuse. There is a dual gauge cluster to the left of the steering wheel to monitor oil pressure and battery volts. The tachometer is not currently hooked up; I'll leave it in place since it was there in the pictures. Clear title in hand, matches VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc. While every effort has been made to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible, it is in fact a 41-year-old classic car, and therefore being sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Please be ready to make payment in full within 3 days of auction’s end via deposit into my Bank of America account, or bank wire transfer. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I own a classic car restoration shop and can recommend a reliable and affordable broker who I have used many times... ultimately the choice must be yours alone. Feel free to call me directly at 360-936-9257 with any questions you may have.
