Vehicle Detail
For sale is a '91 Jeep Wrangler (YJ) with a 4.0L I6 motor with an automatic transmission. Chassis has ~210k miles, with a rebuilt engine with 35k miles on it. The drivetrain is incredibly stout and strong. I'm selling it because I need to start driving more, and I need a more economical daily driver. It has a total of 9" lift.Upgrades include:- BDS Suspension Lift Kit (Very good quality, good ride)- 35"x12.5x15 BF Goodrich KM2s. The tires have plenty of tread on them still, more than 60% tread, I would say.- Ford 8.8 Rear End with 4.11 gears (And disc brakes) [Upgrade from stock]- Dana 30 front end with solid shaft upgrade (CAD eliminator) with 4.11 gears [Stock front axle from a 4-cylinder manual YJ]- Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE) with custom Adam's Drive Shaft- Fuel tank has been replaced with extended fuel tank (22 gallons versus stock 15 gallons)- 3/16" steel fuel tank skid plate- Inside is Rhino lined- Access port for fuel tank & sender- 27-Series Deep Cycle Marine battery Bad: - Full Doors missing door panels & glass- Fuel injectors leak on occasion. (Can be replaced or maybe even just cleaned)- Leather seats are starting to tear- Turn signal/Windshield Wiper mechanism broke. Windshield wiper part still works, but the cast piece that connects it to the turn signal broke. They sell the assembly that pops right in.- Some body rust, but nothing too major. (In the back where the tailgate meets the floor, on the side rockers, and on the floor behind the seats) -- There's no major rust on the frame- New heater core installed, but not connected Rear and front axle installed <10k miles ago. Both axles serviced before installation. The suspension was installed at the same time as the axles. During this time, the transfer case was also serviced, and the chain replaced. (~3 years ago) In the interim, I've driven it for a total of 4x 250-mile trips without any issue, as well as around-town driving. This vehicle has never left me stranded. There are plenty of other little mods that have been done to this vehicle, like a tilt steering column with intermittent windshield wiper module, Grand Cherokee leather seats, B&M shifter. It comes with full color-matched doors, as well as half doors (which are factory gray). It also comes with cup holders! A full tune-up was done a few months ago (<1000 miles), as well. I have taken care of this thing, it has been my baby. I thought I was going to own it forever, so I've always been gentle with it, especially as it's my daily driver and I needed to get to school/work. I bought the best mods I could and did everything right, as well as treated it properly. But even then I rarely drove it.
