Vehicle Detail
This is a heavily modified 2003 dodge ram quad cab 4x4 . It has the 5.7 hemi that has been fully rebuilt. It was bored .040 over with speed pro pistons, new bearings, rings, heads serviced, new 6.1 hemi springs and 6.1 hemi camshaft. The transmission has been gone through. the rear drive shaft is brand new as well. now for the fun stuff, the original axles and suspension were ditched in favor of a pair of F350 super duty axles. the front dana 60 has 4.10 gears, new ball joints, new calipers, brackets and rotors. the front springs are rear f 250 springs on custom mounts . the rear 10.5 axle is mounted on the factory springs with a shackle reversel and a long add a leaf. rear air bags were added for extra carrying capacity. The abs has been hooked back up and works as it should. the truck uses a 2500 ram steering box with a ford pitman arm. all the steering linkage is factory ford pieces for ease of replacement. the truck has 17x10 race line rims and 315/70/17 tires. the front tires are brand new and the rear has plenty of tread left. flowmaster exhaust and nerf bars finish it all off. the truck runs and drives amazing with no steering slop or bump steer . the suspension is great and rides as good as my 2014 ram 2500 did. the radiator was upgraded to a larger one from a second gen ram diesel( its new)and an electric fan. the interior is in great shape , ther is the standard dodge dash crack however. the ac blows cold, eerything works and no check engine lights . the body of the truck has 160k on it , but everything else has been gone through. I have put 12k on the truck since I built it . one trip was towing my 5th wheel across the county and back . it did very well, we have also tow our race cars to the track twice a month last summer . only selling because I picked up a new project truck to build so it has to go. now for the bad , the crack in the dash, the parking brake I never hooked up( would just need cables), the front drive shaft was just a piece together so it is not ballaced or true. works ok till about 50mph. i would recommend a replacement if you want you use 4x4 on the hiway, the rear gears are 4.56 and fronts are 4.10. never got around to changing to match . works fine in slippery stuff, but cant use 4x4 on the dry. I can change the rear to match for you for an additional cost there is hail damage on the hood, roof, and driver doors . took a pic of the hood so you can see. the hood is the worst , cant tell inless your up close since its white . could be solved with a hood swap and a little paintless dent repair on the doors . thanks shawn
