This is a rust free 1996 Honda Civic Hatchback. The chassis is rust free and has 152000 miles. The car came out of Virginia and is clean underneath. It is very hard to find one of these chassis that does not have rust on it and this one appears clean.The engine is an 1.8 Liter LS swap out of a 1994 Integra. It has an LS 5 speed manual transmission as well. The clutch is a 4 puck clutch with a lightened flywheel. I am not sure of the brand. The engine runs smooth, idles great (no surge that is typical of so many older Hondas) and has been very reliable. The suspension is lowered. It has coil overs in the front and lowering springs in the rear. The front is currently pretty low and with the front lip it can be an adjustment to drive if you are not used to lowered cars. The interior is decent but not perfect. The headliner sags and there is no carpet in the rear behind the back seats. The seats are nice for their age. The front bumper has a nice SI Lip on it and the rear bumper is unique (please see pictures). The paint is black and was done a couple of years ago. The body is straight and the paint looks decent but would need a good detail to really shine because it has been sitting at my house for a couple of years. The power steering and A/C have been removed. I have many other vehicles and planned on selling this years ago and just never did. I am flexible on the price so make reasonable offers.
