1982 Honda Ascot FT 500 Single cylinder electric start thumper.One of the worlds most advanced single cylinder engines. Disk brakes front and rear.Air adjustable forks with brace.350.6 lbs of very light, agile motorcycle. This is a two owner 6,700 mile machine.Everything works except horn.Starts with the push of the button.Has some blemishes that are in photos. Side covers don't line up perfect, no tank decals. (May have been repainted.)Rear brake sticks a bit and could use a rebuild.As of right now the key does not fit the lock on the gas cap, luckily it is unlocked and opens to fill the tank without issue. Along with the bike, comes a clean title, original sales brochure, spare horn, original grab bar with helmet lock, and an aftermarket front fairing. These are getting harder and harder to find in original shape. Own this one and restore it, ride it, or race it like it was meant to. I've personally rode this bike and have not had any issues with it. As with any vintage motorcycle we recommend a tune up prior to riding. Spark plug, carb cleaning, and general maintenance would help this motorcycle perform as it did new. Highest bidder wins! Good luck.
