Circumstances and tax issues have forced the sale of my vintage motorcycle collection. Up for sale is a rare 1988 Honda V45 Super Magna. The Super Magna was only made in 1987 and 1988 and 1988 was the only V45 with less than 4000 produced. This bike is in absolutely great condition and is ready to ride to that vintage bike show. I would rate it an 8.5 out of 10. The original owner, of this bike, liked chrome and there were a lot of chromed pieces when I purchased. I did a minor restoration, on the bike, and it is mostly stock, except for Progressive front springs and front brake rotor. Partial list of work done on bike. Replace front brake caliper with stock non-chrome version. Replace front brake pads and rear brake shoes. Replace master cylinder sight glasses. Rebuild and polish front fork assembly including new seals and Progressive springs. Replace rear brake drum with non chrome version. Replace air box covers with non chrome stock covers. polish aluminum on rims. All body parts professionally repainted to factory original color and tank decals replaced. Tires replaced with Bridgestone. A used seat was purchased and covered with a new cover. The original seat, which is in great condition was removed to preserve it and stored. The original seat goes with bike along with other parts including some of the chromed pieces. The bike is mechanically and cosmetically way above average in my opinion and would be an excellent addition to any collection. There is a slight scuff, on the back of the instrument cluster and a 2" crack in one of the side covers, but neither are very noticeable All fluids have been changed and it is ready to ride. Bike is located in Sturgis Michigan, and arranges can be made for a private viewing. I can also arrange a phone call if further discussion is requested. I have described as best as memory alows but this is a 29 year old bike and so it is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
