*NO RESERVE AUCTION* *There are over 50 full size photos posted in the auction description so please take the time to study them all.* 1979 Honda "CT90". This was the last year Honda produced the "Trail 90". In 1980 they switched over to the "Trail 110". 1979 is considered to be the best year for Trail 90's as it has all the refinements. 90cc overhead camshaft engine with an automatic transmission (no clutch) and "Dual Range" High / Low gear box. These bikes are very easy to ride and will go anywhere. This bike is in very good original condition with original "Tahitian Red" paint and only 9615 original miles. There are scratches and flaws in the paint but it still shines. It runs great and everything works as it should. It just had a full service including an oil change, carb rebuild (with kit), points cleaned and adjusted, and a valve adjustment. It also has a brand new battery and there are no oil leaks. It starts first kick, idles nicely, and it shifts through the gears smoothly. The brakes also work well. The IRC Trials tires have lots of tread left but are slightly dry rotted. The rims are straight and run "True" but there are a few small areas where the chrome it pitted. The ignition key also works the fork lock as it should. The original "Stanley" headlight still works on both beams and the plastic headlight bucket is not cracked like most. The speedometer is in nice condition and works. The airbox assembly and auxiliary gas can are in very good condition as well. The only thing missing is the plastic frame cover and reproductions of those are available online if desired. The overall condition of the bike is used but not abused. It is obvious that it has been taken care of over the years. This bike is ready to ride. No title. Sold with a Bill of Sale.
