The day has come to sell the '55. My Dad bought the car in 1974 and drove it semi frequently up until he started commercial fishing in the mid 80s. After that, he only put a few hundred miles on it a year up until he turned it over to me a few years ago. This car has a story. My Dad grew up in Oklahoma on a ranch and rebuilt his first engine by 15 years old and he worked on cars and machinery the rest of his life. And he still does:) He's 68 now. Point being, he has maintained it for daily driving and it still runs and drives to this day. It does need brake pads soon. Frame was coated years ago, engine overhauled within the last 10 years. 327 quadra jet engine, 3 on the tree manual with overdrive. Parking brake was added and aftermarket water temp gauge for accuracy. It was painted in the 80s and the upholstery was done then too. Not a show room queen but very nice find for a resto/resto-mod. Body is straight, virtually no rust, a few surface specks but its hard to find. I could go on...I had plans for this car but I have no time and I want this to have the right home and my Dad agrees.$8,000or best offer. I'm not unreasonable
