Update to the original listing: I had several questions last time about shipping costs, concerns about the mileage and the drain plug. So with that in mind I am lowering the price a bit to accommodate the first two issues. It seems that the eBay uship estimator is a bit off so make sure you are getting an accurate quote before bidding. As for the mileage someone asked a question about the motor needing to be “freshened up”, this very well may be. All I can say to that is that I drove this bike most days the weather would allow me to do so and she never gave me a bit of concern about making it home. As far as the drain plug is concerned, it is able to be removed normally for oil changes. It did produce a very small drip, so to counter that I put a small dab of high temp sealant on the plug where the copper gasket is, install it and let it sit for a few hours to dry before adding oil. I never had an issue doing this. One last thing, I will not release the bike or title until my bank verifies the cashier’s check is valid. If I am reading the eBay pages correctly you cannot use PayPal to pay off the balance because it is less than $2,000 which makes no sense to me... To help make lives easier I am bumping up the deposit amount to $500, which is paid through PayPal. For the balance cash in person preferred. If not cash then a US bank drawn cashier’s check is fine. A USPS money order would suffice as well. I will take that to my bank or post office to have it verified before the bike is released and the sale completed. This beauty is in excellent condition! The bike sat for several years before I bought it 4 years ago from the original owner. Here is a list of things replaced since I bought the bike: New Tires, still lots of tread left New battery this spring New chain last year New rear brake pads, have front pads still in the package New intake carb boots between the jugs and carbs, and O rings New boots between the carb and air box New DYNATEK 3 ohm coils and wires New DYNATEK Electronic ignition replacing the points and condenser Carbs professionally cleaned last year New plugs last spring New tach cable and o ring for the cable I am told the stepped Suzuki seat and the “L” backrest are uncommon. This was my everyday rider and she never let me down. Clean and clear title in my name. She is a little cold blooded on the first start but I am told this is common with these bikes. 40,xxx miles on the clock. It runs and shifts fine. The original owner stripped out the drain plug for the oil and put an oversized plug in. There are some small chips in the paint on the tank. It also has a fairing for it, if you want pictures just ask. Get on it and ride or she is a perfect candidate for a full restoration. If you are looking for a bike to chop up or turn into a bobber this one is not for you. Shipping or pick up is up to you. I will be happy to work with a third party shipper like “u ship” or something like that during pick up but setting everything up is your responsibility. It will expedite things with the shipper if you let me know their requirements before they pick it up. Deposit must be made within 24 hours.
