Bike had been dropped by previous owner. I bought it around November 2013 and had begun fixing it up for the next Spring, but in March of 2014, I had a house fire, and was displaced for a year with other priorities. The bike has been in the garage, and was undamaged by the fire (which was in the house, not the garage) but I've just never gotten back to it, and would like someone to finish and enjoy this bike!! When I got it, It started, but the back brake was completely frozen. I replaced the back caliper with a rebuilt one off of ebay and installed new pads, did some other minor work to it, and actually got to ride it around my yard a few times before the fire. I had replaced some parts which were damaged, and the next thing I was going to do was to clean and jet the carbs. In Maryland it's old enough that it doesn't need an inspection to get tags, so my plan was to get it to that point, and then ride while I slowly fixed the cosmetics.. Fast forward to 2016, I wouldn't recommend trying to start it until the small amount of gas is drained, and make sure there's no gunk inside the tank to be pulled through the engine.. Carbs definitely need cleaning, but I have no doubt someone with just a little time and know how can get this thing on the road easily by Spring. Scratches and dents on tank, cracked plastics and snapped turn signal mounts. Plenty more cosmetic issues still.. Back tire is flat now. It was holding air, but I haven't tried to see if it will hold any now.. 10058 miles on it. Clear Maryland title, signed by previous owner (I never titled it) Bike is as is, no returns.. happy to let you come and look at it. I have a few spare parts (old brake caliper, shift rod, etc that I had planned to install but never did..) that will be included.
