FIRST TIME OFFERED. Here is an opportunity to purchase a very rare 1950 Ford F1 short-bed, step-side original Maytag sales and service truck. This truck has a clear Ohio title in my name. This is a true "barn find" truck, and it has been off the road since 1973. The motor has been soaking with Marvel Mystery Oil for 2 1/2 years. It will turn but only a partial revolution. This is a late production 1950 that was equipped with manual shifting on the column. This has been an Ohio truck for its entire life. Consequently, there is some rust on the body, but the floorboards and frame are solid. Both doors retain the original lettering, which reads as follows: "Maytag Sales and Service; Phone 273; Baltimore, OH." This is a perfect candidate for a shop truck or a rat rod. The additional parts you see in the garage are mostly Ford parts that will be sold as a package deal with this truck. I am cleaning out my garage for a Corvette project. I am regretfully listing this, because I am out of room. This vehicle is sold "as is" with no warranty. I will accept CASH at time of pick-up, or a CERTIFIED BANK CHECK that MUST CLEAR my bank before pick-up of vehicle. My bank puts a seven-business-day hold on certified checks.
