The stated auction terms must be observed to maintain this guarantee. This is a Gorgeous looking 1996 Mercedes Benz S420 sedan. This Mercedes has 49,935 original miles and was from Maryland. This S420 is an original unmodified vehicle in magnificent condition. * The 1990 - 1999 S-Class cars probably feature some of the best build quality and engineering to be found in any production car produced by Mercedes or elsewhere. Subsequently, Mercedes altered its longstanding practice of quality production due to unexpected market competition from the newly founded Japanese luxury brands, particularly Lexus. In 2000, Mercedes began outsourcing component production to other countries, and quality suffered dramatically, particularly on the S-Class cars. This car was made under the original Mercedes production ideology of producing the best car, using their longtime suppliers of components and materials, all from Germany. This car was built under the spare-no-expense production theory, which is quite evident in this and all Mercedes vehicles of the 90's. This S420 runs beautifully. There aren’t any service or warning lights on. The engine runs strong and smoothly, and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. The ride in this Mercedes is top notch, and the suspension and steering feels nice and tight. A complete set of premium Michelin tires were installed by the owner and are showing most of their tread. The brake pads are in excellent condition. The oil and filter and air filter were also replaced this week. This car is ready to be picked up and should provide many years of excellent service and reliability. The exterior of this Mercedes looks fabulous. The body of this Mercedes is straight, clean and in beautiful condition. The White finish is super glossy and brilliant over the entire body with nothing other than some tiny stone nicks or dings. The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents and there aren't any dents, scratches or repaired damage on the body. All of the trim is intact and in excellent condition. All of the lower trim and bumpers are in perfect condition without any chips, scrapes or scratches. There isn't any body rust at all, and the undercarriage is clean and in excellent condition. The interior is crisp, clean and in terrific condition. All of the leather surfaces are supple and clean without any wear spots, even on the driver seat or armrest. The carpeting is clean and fluffy throughout this car. There aren’t any rips or holes in the seats or carpeting in this Mercedes. The dash and door panels are in excellent condition without any cracks, UV fading or other damage. All of the interior trim pieces are intact, tight and in terrific condition. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle and there aren’t any smoke odors or burn marks inside this car. The vehicle history report is clean without any accidents or damage, and we have clear title in hand. This is a beautiful S420 in excellent condition. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $60, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. (Storage charges will not apply to vehicles scheduled for pickup by a transporter).
