Vehicle Detail

1986 Honda Magna V65 1100C $1499 OHIO Negative attributes of this bike:1. The seat is ugly. I'd recover it or replace it, although it is fully functional as is.2. The rear brake caliper can be "sticky" sometimes. I'd rebuild the caliper.3. The rear white wall tire has good tread on it--but gosh is it ugly! It does not fit the "look" of this bike. Positive attributes of this bike:1. 116HP Honda V-4 that purrs (actually will roar if asked). 2. 35,xxx miles3 6 Speed Transmission. All gears work, nothing "pops out" clutch is perfect, no grinding or slipping whatsoever when shifting or driving it.4. Clear title in my name. The title say's "odometer discrepancy." No idea why, and I don't care. If this were a newer bike, someone may care, but on something 30 years old, well.....not so much.Digital Instrument Cluster--all of it even works! Backrest (these are not cheap for these bikes) The engine runs great. No smoke. No knocks, ticks, pings, etc. It does not overheat, or do anything that it should not. I'm not even sure if there is a choke on this one (there was a choke on the '85 V65 Magna--basically the same bike as this one--that I had in 2011). I have never needed one on this '86. The battery is excellent. Turn the key, hit the starter, and it runs. No voodoo operations needed to get it to run. ;) It is that simple. On the date the pictures were taken, it started instantly in my basement garage, and I "walked" it to my outside garage to take the pictures of it. I have included a video that was also taken on 12-14-2016 of it being started, idling, revved a few times, and back to idle. It is kinda blurry (sorry, I am not a photographer, and it was on my phone), but it shows that it runs great.Look at my feedback. I tell it like it is. This is a crazy fast bike that one can cruise on. I am not a street bike guy, or I would keep it. I'm more into the "street legal dirt bike" thing, fast cars, etc. This is not a bike I would recommend for your 16 year old son. It is heavy and fast. Please respect the fact that it is basically a crotch rocket engine in a cruiser frame. See the video. I am an '80's guy, so I dig it. Here it is...1983 at it's finest! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGfJ9IqXcoE These bikes have a cult following and always will because of the 116 horsepower V-4 engine, 4 carbs (and these all actually work as they should!) and 6 speed trans. Located in Philo, Ohio. Zip code 43771 For sale locally (after I post this on ebay), and I reserve the right to end the auction early if a cash buyer shows up at my house. These pictures and the video were taken on Wednesday 12-14-2016.
