Hello,This is a Land Rover series 2a with a Chevy 350 convention, and 3 speed auto box connected to the Land Rover transfer box. 2 wheel drive in high ratio, 4 wheel drive in low.This is an older conversion which has been professionally completed, the engine is a mid 80's chevy unit. Engine runs and pulls good, three speed box shifts fine but is a little hard on the shift.Brakes are rebuilt drums, work fine but you need to step on them.The truck has twin tanks, rear tank like a normal 109 and a under the seat tank like an 88. You switch electrically from the cab.Inermitant electrical issue with the front lights, switch, fuse and lights are good, needs a new wire run. Sorry I do not have time to do this.I use the truck as my Home Depot runner, and for coffee and cars is Houston.The seats are exmoor trim, and there is very good sound proofing, this is the quietest Land Rover I have ever driven.The body is a little rough on close inspection, driving by at 30 mph it looks good. The truck does come with the truck cab roof and new door tops. When I got the truck is was running on 6 cylinders and was very rough. I put in a new electronic distributor, new leads and plugs and changed the oil. Engine run good. I also changed all the fluids other than the 3 speed box. Oil pressure is good.
