Hello and Thank you for looking at my item, what we have here is a 2001 Lexus RX300 Used 3L V6 24V Automatic AWD SUV for Parts or Repair, This vehicle was purchased with the intent to use a winter vehicle but after purchasing we have found it to have a bad transmission, I would like to say first off I am not a mechanic and as you can see from my feedback I am a electronics wholesaler so I will do my best here. Vehicle will not go into reverse, its just not there, vehicle will go forward but seems to not want to go into either 2nd or 3rd gear, I thought the forward gears where still there when i bought it. So i had a buddy of mine who is a mechanic tell me it needs a transmission so i am taking his word for it. Its a shame because the vehicle drives smooth, you can drive it but i would say not over 30mph or so, We also had the entire vehicle looked over and for the age and mileage its pretty nice, The only other thing to mention is there sounds like a small exhaust leak starting but was also advised it could be fixed rather than replaced, Over all the body is nice, I would say some small dents and dings here and there but nothing that really stands out, Couple small spots of rust, Underside looks nice, underside rocker pillars are solid and no rust there, Paint is OK, all panels match but has a bunch of small rock chips, Plastics on the vehicle are ok with some scuffs and digs here and there, Headlights seem a bit cloudy was told they could be spiffed up, Headlights are factory HID. Inside is very nice considering age and mileage, driver seat has a small tear on bottom pad and could use a quick cleaning, Drivers floor mat is the worst and would say it should be replaced, under the floor mat is nice. wipers works, Windows work, sun roof works, gate opens good, we let the vehicle idle for 35 minutes due to it being cold here in NY and engine operates normal, AC kicks in when the temp is lowered and heat pumps out nice, I have always been a person who would of never looked at a high mileage car but this is super clean, just more than i can handle at this time. I will answer any questions and just need to add this in case you where'nt already aware, this vehicle is being sold for parts or repair, there is no warranty at all. There is a clean title with the attached original lien release. I will accept paypal for entire payment but there will be a 3% surcharge to cover fees, This vehicle will definitely need to be towed or by dolly. 200 deposit when listing ends.
