Vehicle Detail

Selling the wifes' rig. She bought it new in '87. She had body work done to remove all obvious rust that was replaced with new (same gauge) metal and painted in 2012 I think. The paint is about 4 years old now. She had some wavey decals on it, I removed them. The Mary Margarette placard was put there by a friend of the painter that apparently used to airbrush nascars. ??? Don't know about that. But I don't have the paint experience to remove it.  Anyway the truck is pretty much as is. I do know it has never seen the kind of use some people do to their 4runners. Gravel roads have been the toughest terrain it's rolled over.  This is an unmolested, turn key daily 4Runner that only needs a new home. Besides it's too small for me, I'm sick and moving south where its warm. Paperwork/receipts and such dating back to 88 come with it. She was a bit anal about attending to things that needed doing maintenance wise.  The frame is not rusted. Tires are about 50-60%. Master and slave clutch cylinders are new, as is the Alternator (by almost 2 years). Belts, hoses, new radiator and various other things. Rear Window Tint could be replaced at some time. The gear shift knob broke off but can likely be replaced fairly easily. It's a pretty clean rig. Just needs a new owner. On Nov-22-16 at 20:57:12 PST, seller added the following information: Selling the wifes' rig. She bought it new in '87. Yes it Works :)
