Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 126K. This car has always been in a smoke-free environment and has mainly been used for local city and highway driving. No off-road adventures, accidents, or reckless driving that would put un-necessary strain on the car. This Jeep Grand Cherokee is still a decent looking 4x4 SUV that can be used as-is to locally get back and forth with a good motor and trans. You can still get in, turn the key, and go even after it's been sitting for several days. Save today on the purchase price of this relatively low mileage SUV. With minor inexpensive upgrades you'll be good to go. A brake line underneath the car rusted and needs to be fixed or replaced. I took it in for a quote from a local shop for $150 parts and labor. While repairing the brake line you should install new brakes and rotors all around because there's some vibration during hard braking at highway speeds. You can buy a full set for all 4 wheels on eBay for $125. The windshield should be replaced even though damage is only on the passenger side. Glass shops near me charge $190 for a windshield and install. The check engine light came on before but has been off for a while. When it was on the diagnostic readout from AutoZone said to replace the oxygen sensor. Sensors are sold on eBay for about $20-$40 depending on which specific sensor is required. There's no lift stick under the hood to hold it open so I use a pole as seen in the picture to hold it up. The trunk lift doesn't always stay up on it's own so I use the same pole to keep it open. The car has a factory alarm, keyless entry, and remote start. It's time for a new key fob though. The original key fob you'll get with the car needs a battery and doesn't always respond on the first button press so I don't use it often. If you ever remove the car battery then re-connect the terminals, the factory alarm will arm itself and the remote key fob will have to be used to disarm it. Other than these issues mentioned you will have normal wear on a vehicle this age. This 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee has a clear title and two keys along with a lock, unlock, panic, and engine start key fob that needs repairing or replacing. The vehicle is located in the 19126 zip code of Philadelphia, PA. If you have any questions, just let me know.
