I am selling this slick, black mustang 67, "S" code. I have tried to restore to its original glory with minor upgrades. Body: Most of the sheet metal is original, original quarter panels, rocker panels, doors, fenders, trunk; all original and rust free. Zero bondo. Front frame rails and rear frame rails, including the truck floor, are rock solid with no issues at all. Aprons are 100% original, with the VIN number stamp on both sides of the aprons. One of the upgrades on the body is the torque box that was installed to the passenger side. The only repair I had to do on the floor is one small section about 3" on the front passenger side where the firewall and the floor meet. Other than that, the floor is original and solid. The paint job was well done, it does have one tiny scratch (about 1/2 inch on the passenger side, someone ripped the cobra emblem off) other than that is a gorgeous glossy finish. It looks absolutely fantastic as you can see in the pictures. Drive train: it is 390 with 4 barrels, the engine was rebuilt 4,000 miles ago according to the previous owner. The engine runs strong and powerful. It is hooked to new mufflers and 2 1/4 inch pipe. Transmission is 4 speed top loader, no problems whatsoever. A mechanic inspected it to make sure that it is in optimum condition. Rear axel is 9" with a 3.25 radio 3rd member. Suspension: the coil springs are new, the lower control arm was replaced, upper bolt joint, inner and outer tie rods kit was changed,strut rods bushing kit, new front shocks and new coil spring shocks in the back. Brand new windshield. The rest of the glass is original all the way around (hence the scratches on the driver's window). Interiors: upholstery is brand new(front and back seats), head liner brand new, door panels brand new, carpet brand new including the back fold down seat. Instrumental dash panel brand new, dash pad original in extremely good condition, no cracks whatsoever. The quarter panel interiors are in excellent condition and they don't have any speaker cuts to speak of. The rest of the interior panels are in superb condition with out any cuts. Trap doors are in excellent condition. Weather strips are new all the way around. Brakes: have new master cylinder, new booster, new calipers, this black beauty has front disk brakes and drum in the back which are in pristine condition. It has power steering. Chrome: great condition, some being brand new. I tried to describe this car as honestly as possible. I priced this car to what I believe is fair.
