We are offering for sale a very pretty 1965 Ford Mustang. With the exception of the radio (which doesn't work very well), the car is all original. The original 6 cylinder engine has been rebuilt and has that nice sound that you expect from a Mustang. The 35,000 miles are believed to be original but cannot be verified. The body is entirely original with no patches or rust issues. The car has had one interior and exterior repaint in its original Wimbledon white. The seats and carpet are original with some fading but no tears of any kind. The car has the original Ford Cruise O Matic automatic transmission which shifts very smoothly, but does not have power steering or brakes. It does not have air conditioning. All belts, hoses, etc are in good shape. The glass is all Ford Carlite, and the chrome is shiny with virtually no blemishes or pitting. It also has brand new tires. It has a clear Louisiana title in my name, and has just passed Louisiana's rigorous vehicle safety inspection. This isn't a new car or a show piece. It's just a cute original 1965 Mustang for someone who wants to drive and enjoy. The car doesn't need restoration if you just want a classic driver. It will be for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you choose to buy it at my buy-it-now price, then I will ship it to you anywhere in the continental United States of America. Otherwise, the buyer who buys via auction or outside the lower 48 states will be responsible for shipping.
