1978 Chevy El Camino: * Motor and Transmission rebuilt approximately 5,000 miles ago. 350 Chevy bored over, larger cam, new Eldebrock carb, headers, intake. 350 turbo transmission. Craiger Mag Wheels, 245 60 15 rear and 215 70 15 front BF Good Rich matching radial tires. New Steel gas tank, new lines, new exhaust front to rear with Flow Master mufflers, Great body and interior. Why I am selling: *I have no documentation on rebuild as was allegedly done by previous owner. I bought on October 3rd and drove it for two weeks. Ran GREAT, Shifted Great. My son drove it and parked it. I went out to drive it and it will NOT MOVE. ALL GEARS seem like Neutral. I assume transmission is out. If I can get enough for it with out fixing it I would like to just get rid of it. If I can't get enough I will have it fixed and ask more for it. At this time the title has not come back to me from TOPEKA. Supposed to be here any day and assume will be before close of auction. But if not will give bill of sale and expedite title as soon as i get it. Small exhaust leak between header and motor (gasket), And as noted won't move probably transmission. On Oct-23-16 at 16:04:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Had question The Transmission and shifter. Transmission is a 3 speed automatic TURBO 350 and it has that stamped on the pan. The shifter, I don't know what brand it is, has a button so it locks into place and you have to push the button in to move it into the different positions.
