Up for auction is the Honda Elsinore CR250 in the pictures, this is a rare bike and I hardly ever see any for sale. I am selling this because I do not have time to ride it anymore due to work. It has a lot of power and is like riding a tank. I have done a few wheelies on it with out trying to! I have posted 2 videos on YouTube so you can see that its running good. in the videos it was just stared so it sounds rough, it smooths out a little more as it warms up. I can't post the link but if you go on youtube and search "1973 Honda Elsinore cr 250" you see a guy in a blue shirt, it will come up on the first page. I took the video 10/21/16. Good condition for being 40+ years old. Has great compression. Newer clutch was put in and grabs great. New front fork seals. Shifts through all gears with no problems. Tires are in great shape like new, and the front tire still has the green strip on it. kick starter is missing the little spring and ball that holds it in place, so i use a small rope to keep it from moving, you can still use it. clutch cable is cracked because I fell off the bike but still works, an easy fix.The gas tank was welded on top because there was a crack due to it being dented, and was welded on the bottom because the guy I bought it from cut a hole in it to get the dent out. The tank was pressure tested and had no leaks. I also have a helmet that came with it when i bought it but I don't know if its original or anything but i will include it with the bike. I believe a lot of this bike is original, but not 100% I know the handle bars,grips, levers and the number plate are not original, obviously the tires have been replaced. But that's all I know. Local Pick up and must be paid in 2 weeks after auction. If the buyer likes, they can arrange for shipping. The bike is being sold as is with the helmet. I do not know thew mileage so I put 1.
