If you don't plan on purchasing it; please do not bid on it. That being said, it is now back for sale on eBay. Its a 1995 Mercedes Benz SL600. This is basically a project car or good parts car. It’s pretty much complete. The body is fairly solid with minimal surface rust on the undercarriage. Floors are very solid. It has some dents in the front fenders and scratches in the paint. The previous owner had a plastic cover on it, which resulted in blistering the clear coat on the hood and trunk lid. The engine starts right up and runs, but not well. The main reason I’m selling the car is because it’s a little over my mechanical ability. I bought a code reader and cleared most of the problems; however, a couple codes keep coming up for the left throttle body and Mass air flow sensor. I’m assuming it needs these parts replaced since it runs in limp mode. The brakes, wheels, tires, power top(works flawlessly), power steering, new battery, suspension (minus a few leaks), Hard top, and exhaust system are all in good shape. The convertible top is in good condition with no rips, however needs a window kit. The interior is fair to poor condition. I purchased a whole box of good interior parts including a very nice roll bar which is included with the sale. Good project for the right person. These cars had a very low production and sold new for120k High bidder is responsible for transporting.
