The new, E46 engine replaced the E36 platform of prior models and delivered 333 horsepower from a 3.2 liter inline six cylinder engine. The new engine shared just five percent of its parts component with the old engine.Some buyers, however, chose to wait for the 2002 M3 when BMW added the clutchless, sequential manual gearbox. But added features made the 2001 model one worth owning. Another notable addition was the new Dynamic Stability Control which, when combined the new variable M differential lock, made for superior handling on slick surfaces. This M3 is a beast engine is really strong, no check/service engine lights, factory M3 wheels , decent tires, 120k miles, harman/Kardon audio, beautiful exterior color Laguna seca blue, 6spd manual, RWD, needs interior work, also the rear subframe is cracked, paint is in pretty good shape very minor light scratches, runs great and drives.
