1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille, 472ci engine, automatic. This is a one owner car, the car was bought new from O'Keeffe Cadillac in Westport CT. The gentleman who bought the car passed away and left the car to his wife who also passed away some years later. It comes with a clean original CT title, CT registration and both death certificates from the owner and his wife. The car overall is in great shape for its age, it will need a motor however. It will start and run the way it is but the motor has a knock and will either need to be replaced or rebuilt. The floors, frame and rockers are very solid and have no holes or rot. The lower fenders behind the front wheels on both sides are rotted, the rear wheel well opening inside where the skirts clip on is also rotted on both sides, the trunk pan has some small holes. Other than that the car is very clean and solid, the interior is in great shape, no major rips or tears anywhere, the dash has no cracks, the headliner is very nice. The vinyl top is in very nice, no rips. This would be an easy car to restore, very minimal rust work. Most of these cars are so rotted it takes a lot of time just to get that sorted out before moving on to the rest of the car. Thats not the case with this car. A body shop could have the rust repaired and the car painted in a couple weeks. The engine could be replaced by a skilled shop in a couple days. Please read everything in this listing before bidding.
