1979 Mercedes 300D Runs and drives well. 140,000 miles (odometer reads 35k odometer replaced at around 90k according to previous owner and maintenance records 90k + 35k =125k I'm saying 140k as a conservative estimate) Mechanically this car is sound and can be driven as a daily driver. This could be restored for a classic mercedes lover or converted to biodiesel. These cars have been known to reach 1 million miles. VIN: 12313012137970 There are some maintenance records from original owner but none from the second owner. New: Tires (less than 1000 miles on them) Glow plugs Glow plug relay Battery oil and fuel filters Updated cooling system (radiator and reservoir tank) from later model 300D. Recently serviced a/c with reconditioned compressor. Blows cold. Power windows all work smoothly as well as power locks. The Bad: some hail and sun damage. Clear coat peeling on roof (see pics) Brakes work but need service soon, as there is a pulsing in the pedal. the front left rotor needs to be turned or replaced to fix correctly.
