This might be the right car for you to consider for that winter project.The car is a 1970 Pontiac GTO 455 HO with an M21 close ratio 4 Speed and is 1 of 1761 produced! Factory assembled with "Judge" Stripe decals, which is a pretty unique option! One year only Granada Gold exterior, brown interior. Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) Documented! The engine/trans is not matching numbers and currently has a 1976 455 HO, likely from a Trans Am in its place. The head casting number is "6H".I do know of three different sources to obtain a period correct "WA" block and #64 heads and can help you get your hands on the right pieces to put this car back together.This car runs and drives as-is and with a little more tuning could be turned into a weekend cruiser with that "patina" look. Recently rewired ignition, new HEI distributor, plugs, wires, filters. THE GOOD:Trunk floor, drop offs, rockers, cowl, doors, frame are all solid!Glass is in excellent condition.Correct/matching GM 12 Bolt 3.31 Rear in place.Running, driving, stopping. This car could be made a daily driver with a little more work. THE BAD:The interior is mostly complete (minus rug and radio), but needs restorationDriver's / Passenger's front floor pans will need repairLower passenger rear quarter needs a patch panelLower fenders (may) need a patch panelExhaust is in rough shape.
