Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1967 Jaguar XKE Series 1 Roadster This is a Series 1 XKE with triple carbs and polished cam covers, toggle switches on the dash and open headlights, there were very few cars built with these features. The car was purchased from a dealer in Southern California in 1994. It currently has 38,143 miles. It is a rust free California car from new. The body and engine number match the data plate, air conditioning was installed at one point and the only remnant is the fan installed where the washer bottle was. The car belonged to my friend’s father and he passed away leaving this car, along with a few others to her. He was an auto enthusiast and the condition of the car shows the pride he took in his cars. He had the interior redone early in his ownership to correct specifications. There is a small depression in the upper right hand corner of the rear deck lid, which you can see if you look closely at the photo of the rear deck lid taken from the right side.
