If you are interested in an All Original Vintage Antique Pickup Truck this 1941 Chevrolet AK Series Pickup is just what you have been looking for. I purchased this truck in 2007 from a fellow in Marina Del Ray California where it had been stored for some 30 years. When I purchased it, it barely ran so my wife and I towed it back to Northern Ca. and began the restoration journey. The engine is a 216 cu.in. 6 cylinder with a 6 volt electrical system and is mated to a 3-Speed Manual Transmission. The truck had 28,932 original miles on the speedometer. The Cluster has since been restored and now reads 122 miles. As far as I can tell this is the original Acrylic Lacquer paint which has become chipped and cracked over the last 75 years as would be expected but is still very glossy. This is a Great looking truck with its large Front grill and Split hood. All of the windows work great and the Windshield cranks open and closed. This truck is completely stock and stunning in appearance and does include the Optional Heater/Defroster and the AM Radio. The body style of this classic pickup boasts beautiful red and black. These half-ton series Chevy trucks were built on a 115 inch wheelbase chassis and equipped with 16-inch wheels on 6.00x16 6-ply tires.
