The motorcycle was fully restored including the engine back in 2010. However due other priorities in life, it was stored away and NEVER USED. Unfortunately the storage facility was not climate controlled and as such some parts are now showing minor surface oxidation. Otherwise the bike starts and runs great! Very Rare and unique model!! Vintage Chang Jiang M1 with original 6 Volt system just like the BMW R71. This is the highly sought out model that closely matches the BMW R71 and the Russian M72 & Ural. It has many original features such mechanical ignition advance & 6 volt electrics. The motorcycle was never registered in the US. It comes with Chinese title work which should be accepted at any DMV.
