This awesome classic car is a few small touches away from being a perfect representation of the original! Nevertheless, this El Camino has a lot going for it as you can probably tell from the pictures and will make a great addition to anybody’s garage as is. The engine is a 403 taken from an original 72 Impala and it starts and performs beautifully! It features a Holley carburetor and a transmission from a big block 700 Chevy. The battery is a brand new high performance Optima. The exterior is in excellent condition with no dents or rust. The paint is not original, but it is a very well done paint job. The whole body is completely chrome and the aerodynamic Choo Choo style exhaust is a Flowmaster. The car features most of the original emblems, and the headlight is an HED with hi/lo beams. The bedliner was recently done with EZ liner with no defects or damage. The tires 275/60 R15 tires are in excellent shape with like new tread. These are the original allow rims, but one of them is missing the center cap. The brakes are still the original hardware, but they still work great, and new air shocks have been installed in the rear. The interior is in exception condition with no cracks in the black dash or upholstery. The seats are aftermarket power seats with blue jeans style stitching. Both power windows works as they should and are tinted. All of the weather stripping is new. The sound system features an Alpine radio with USB connection, rear 10” custom fit JL Audio subs, MB Quart front 3.5” speakers and rear 6x9s, Kenwood tweeters, Audiobahn 2400 watt x 2 channel amp, and Hiphonic Zeus 170 watt x 4 channel amp. On the downside the car does not have A/C. Also a few of the emblems are missing, the passenger side mirror glass is cracked and needs to be replaced, and the fuel gauge and speedometer are not tuned to the new motor and do not read correctly. We believe this will already make a great purchase for the high bidder, but it has the potential to be something special with a little bit of attention from the new owner.
