Same engine as in Cayman S 3.4l with bigger factory upgraded IMS bearing- no dreaded IMS issue! Meticulously maintained and serviced by dealer in Plano, TX, accident free. We purchased it from auction, it was supposedly flooded but it turned out previous owner didnt close driver side window and water got under the driver seat flooding body control module. It locked front hood and spoiler, eventually battery died and they couldnt start the car. Previous owner filed claim with insurance and thats how it ended up at auction. After we received this car we noticed that there was no water inside except under the driver seat. We jump started the battery, replaced body control module and started the car right away. Runs and drives great, needs nothing, handles very well on the road and turns. Its super rare to find a used car in mechanically perfect condition with almost new engine. Title is salvage but should be clear in this case because there was absolutely no water in side the car except for under the driver seat. We own a Porsche repair shop (MB Motorsports) and specialize in engine repair. We know Porsche cars inside out. Aside from rebuilds we buy a lot of used Porsches from auctions. This is probably one of our best buys and easiest fixes ever! This Boxsters condition has been described fully and acurately, we drive this car every day and have put on over 500 miles since we got it. Salvage title due to insurance auction, sold by dealer, tax and fees are extra. Absolutely no flood smell inside, it was fresh rain water only under the driver seat.
