Vehicle Detail

1972 Dodge Charger Rallye: The A/C is complete, have power steering and brakes. The original color of the vehicle is exterior B5 Blue Metallic, and enterior Bright Blue Metallic. Although this is a project, it can be on the road as a driver after the exhaust is completed. I have done many things to the vehicle over the last several months from installing a brand new carburetor (still have original THERMO QUAD Carb), tune up, new belt, oil change, fire wall control module, neutral safety switch, all new Monroe shocks and more. The vehicle have 2 fender tags in great condition and a clear Georgia Title in my name also. ENGINE: The engine is the original matching numbers “400 Magnum” that came with the car. The engine runs great. Had new tune up on the car and new coil pack. Engine have the original orange air cleaner also in great condition. It does need valve cover gaskets. EXHAUST: The vehicle have dual exhaust; however, the exhaust system needs to be completed from half back to the exit of the rear valance, or maybe put on a completely new exhaust system from the exhaust manifolds back. Yes, the high performance exhaust manifolds are still present on the engine. TRANS: The original transmission that will burn the tires, The code is D4 on the fender tag and it’s a 727 torque flight with a new transmission pan gasket. REAR END: Original rearend with metal tag still on differential. The tag states 3:23 Sure Grip. BODY: Overall the body is solid as a rock with only a few areas of concern. Rear quarters are solid as a rock with some very minor surface rust finally showing in the corners behind the rear tire. Front fenders are solid as a rock. Hood is in perfect condition but need springs replaced. The left side of the trunk floor needs replacing, or replace the entire trunk. The vehicle floors are very solid and strong with a few “pencil eraser” size holes in each of the driver, passenger, and rear passenger floor. No floors need replacing. Wheels/Tires: The wheels are the original factory 14” Mopar Magnums and are in driver condition, has brand new Futura GLS Sport White letter tires (235/14/70 I believe) with 2 miles on them. INTERIOR: The original enterior is called “bright blue metallic.” The dash does needs some work (restored or replaced because of cracks). The console is there but broke, missing parts, cracked, etc.., the front seats have been restored “bright blue metallic”, the rear seats were left alone because they were not too bad in my opinion. Headliner coming loose at the seams, enterior light and buzzer works, package tray needs replacing, vinyle upper section of front and rear door panel in great condition but all four bottom door panel need replacing Cracking, fading (chalking and dry rotting from sun). I have bought from OPGI both front lower door panels and they go with the car. Original door sills are in driver condition just need cleaning up. I can assist in loading vehicle but transportation will be at the owner's expense. Also there will be a $500 non-refundable at checkout of auction (PayPal) and remaining balance due within 5 days from auction end. Balance must be paid in cash or bank to bank transfer. All funds must clear before vehicle is released. I can be contacted at 315-813-3307 on my cell phone. I live in the Augusta, Georgia area.
