1968 Chrysler Newport "Fast Top" coupe, with rare and unusual factory 3 speed manual transmission and original red paint. No time and limited space lead me to selling this car which I did not originally intend on doing. This is a true cool collectors item. Basically 1 (female) owner since new, retired about 25 years ago, parked in building started occasionally. Solid body, only 2-3 rust spots in easy areas, and one dent drivers side (see photos) otherwise straight and rust free, solid floors and under carriage, original paint and interior. I just put new original type exhaust on it (see photo), I replaced all radiator and heater hoses (still had "Mopar" hoses), oil and filter were changed. Trans shifts very nice, Car almost to a driver status, starts runs, shifts gears smoothly, just turn key. Car seems good and tight. Drives straight down the road, no weird noises or clunks. Still will need a good tune up, fan belts, some cosmetics, details, some interior work (mainly drivers seat cushion brocade seat insert), brakes should be inspected and tires replaced but, solid, solid and original to boot! Dash/gauges are still factory crisp and clean (aside from dash vinyl cap cracked) Owner manual in glove box (see photo), spare tire and jack placed neatly in trunk (see photo), original broadcast "build" sheet tucked under back seat (see photo). One could just do the body repairs, spot them in red and buff out the rest of the car. Its that nice potentially, after all it is original factory red paint. If it does not sell, I will drop car of at local body shop and have them fix the dent etc and likely it will not be relisted. CLEAR IA TITLE ON HAND.
