Vehicle Detail

I bought this bike from the original owner about a month or so ago, very cool bike. It had been sitting in a garage for several years so I took it to a local motorcycle mechanic and below are his comments on what was needed. Please see I DID NOT fix the 2 dash lights or tires, bike starts right up and runs great. I did notice the key does not work for the seat, it is not latched but It doesn't fit that I can tell. Included are the manuals and part in pics. Thank you and good luck! Please see my 100% positive feedback and ask me any questions you have, Thank you Below was the response on condition and what was needed. I am about as far from mechanically inclined as a person can be so thought I would just cut and paste so Its exactly like it is. Title is clear, I didn't have bike when I registered it and I thought it was 17312 but it is really 17241 miles. Buyer to arrange shipping but will cooperate with shipper to ensure fast and safe delivery. A little good news for you. Just fired the Honda. Sounds like it's got more than just pipes on it. She has a bit of a cam in her too. Sounds sweet. So far I've got an hour and a half in her and $5.00 worth of part's in the carbs. I'm sure the petcock is going to need new rubber before I put gas in the tank. Parts shouldn't be expensive, but finding them may prove difficult. The engine oil and filter should be changed. She has 2 dash light's that are inoperative, the neutral light and oil pressure light. Both appear to be the switch on the engine. All other electrical works at present. The front brake fluid should be flushed too, and the caliper and master cylinder may need rebuilds soon, but are not leaking right now. I pulled the drain plugs on the carbs to see what shape they were in. I'm sure he drained them along with the tank, and aside from a sticking float there wasn't any issue that I found. And though I don't think we should try going into the carbs at this point, I can't guarantee that they won't have an issue in the near future. Just an FYI. Add a new battery, a front tire and stick a plate on her and she's ready to go. Another thing I noticed is that when he painted the red, he painted the frame too. Not the right color, but very nice for a rider. $75 in her now. Battery is right at $90, $50 plus parts of approximately $45 for the oils (brake and engine) and oil filter. Figure $50ish for the petcock. She has new spark plugs and a new air filter in her now. The sender's for the 2 idiot lights might be difficult to find also, but they are not required to ride her.
