I was getting 17-20mpg, which isn't bad for a V8 pickup. So sadly, my truck is not getting used and needs a new owner. The truck sounds fantastic and has recently had new front Rotors, Calipers and pads fitted last month. It has been serviced and fully checked out by my Mechanic who say's the engine and transmission are in great condition. However the truck will need some tires and has a rumble due to the back tires (at about 50-55mph) It also has no Cat. The last owner wanted that superb sound that you get when the Cat is removed, hence the EML light stays on, as does the tire inflation sensor light, due to having oversize wheels and tires, No Cat and an aftermarket Flowmaster type exhaust system. This is completely normal, and as I said the vehicle was checked out when I had my Rotors/breaks replaced, by my Mechanic who said it's all good mechanically. The Wheels have been sprayed with some kind of paint like Plasti Dip, to have that 'Murder' Look. It has come off in some places and will probably need re-doing. The seats are the standard Grey type Ford seats and need a good clean, the middle section has what looks like a cigarette burn. It currently has 'Realtree' brand seat covers on it, that look good and tidy. I have not smoked in the Vehicle, but the last owner may have...he was a coal Miner so it was quite dirty when i first bought it. The body has a small dent by the drivers side taillight, one on the tailgate and scratches here and there. No Major damage anywhere! It has the STX pack, so comes standard with Built in Fog lamps, Power locks, power windows, AC, Automatic transmission and has the excellent 4.6 Triton V8 upgrade, rather than the standard V6, and the convenient small back doors, that make it easier to load a few things behind the seats. It also has a Tow pack with a break assist unit in the cab. I have never towed anything with it, and have no idea how to use it. Local residents are welcome to come look at the vehicle. It is a lower priced truck, lowest 08 F-150 STX V8 on eBay & Autotrader as far as I can see. It is also advertised locally. If a deal is done, I will need a Deposit of $200 please.
