Vehicle Detail
2010 Saab 9-5 Aero XWD2.8L V6 turbo 300HP6-Speed Automatic Transmission & Haldex AWDOne of only about 500 9-5's imported in 2010!Well-maintained 2010 Saab 9-5 with approximately 91,300 miles. I have owned this car for the past 5 years / 75,000 miles and it has been a great daily driver. I have moved on to something larger for family use and it's time to pass the car along. This car was always serviced at the dealer - and the best dealer I could find. I have a stack of service records. The car is still covered under a GMPP Major Guard warranty for another 1,000 miles. The car was just inspected in June and I tried to get the dealer to fix every little issue I could think of while it was there. One thing they took care of was a recently released ECU upgrade for the 2.8L engine (the same engine as the Cadillac SRX). The car was momentarily recalled under the Takata airbag recall - and then "unrecalled" when GM/Saab realized the car did not use a Takata inflator (I have a letter from Saab with this info). The car has a great navigation system with an 8" LCD touchscreen. The Aero seats are very comfortable and the heated seats are functional (a common issue with NG9-5's). The stereo sounds great and has CD/DVD/MP3/USB/Bluetooth/SiriusXM and a HDD for storing music. On the exterior of the car there are some small dents and blemishes that are typical for a 90k+ mile car, but overall the car's paintwork is very good. The front and rear bumpers have scuffs and dents from road debris and not-so-careful parallel parkers. Some paintless dent removal and some bumper touch-up would go a long way if you desire. All of the exterior lighting is functional except for the rear LED light bar (a common NG9-5 issue that some DIY owners have figured out how to fix). The car has bi-xenon adaptive (steering) headlights that work great. On the interior there is some wear on the driver's left bolster and some wear on the center console. The rear seats are like new since they weren't used much. The "NAV" button on the center stack is worn. One of the air vent controls is loose - unfortunately the dealer said a replacement part is not available. The car runs and drives great. The XWD system is incredible and the traction and handling can't be compared to the front wheel drive 4-cyl models. The tires are about a year and a half old and can probably last another year or two. The rear brake pads and rotors were replaced at the dealer in June of this year. The left rear wheel still has some rust residue from the old brakes. The right rear wheel was recently replaced due to pothole damage. The rest of the wheels are the factory original wheels and have typical wear and tear. Please let me know if you have any questions! I am happy to show the car to serious buyers and PPI's by a mechanic are welcome.
