Please call 865-309-5558 with any questions. I am selling my 1998 Ford Escort Wagon that I bought new. While this vehicle is not in pristine condition, it is in good condition. I would not have had it this long if it had not served me well. It has a ton of cargo space, while at the same time it is fuel efficient. For many years I took this car camping fully loaded and it has been a daily driver as well. The only non-working item on this car is the cigarette lighter socket. The odometer reads about 128,500. While I was living in Texas, this car overheated and I replaced the engine at about 103,000, so the engine has about 25,000 miles on it. It has quite a bit of life left. The major consideration for anyone who might be interested in this car, is that it is a manual shift. Not too many are made anymore and fewer people know how to drive them. I'm selling this vehicle mainly because my husband is tall and doesn't ride comfortably in it. The car predates him. The Ford Escort has lived in Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia, and now Tennessee. It doesn't have any rust. The vehicle is being sold locally, so this auction may end without warning. Right after I had moved to Atlanta I was sitting on an off ramp one morning when a lady tapped the rear of the car. Damage was minor and was repaired.
