HelloIt's time to sell my survivor 1931 ford deluxe coupe . It's stock and orginal with 1 repaint,( orginal color in door jams and top of cowl light tan) , it was last registered in 1955,here in so California as the orginal title says . I bought it from a guy in the model A ford club locally who got it from a club member who owned it since 1955 . the restoration started by removing the body from the chassis and with the help of the model A club the entire chassis was blasted and painted original color ( black) the entire drivetrain was restored to original specs, with all the orginal colors , new brakes , etc. This car is very reliable with new 6 volt optima battery , it has started and run well every time . It charges great , doesn't run hot , it steers nice , brakes work well and straight. This summer I have run it at the forever four vintage drag races, ( hence the numbers on the windshield ) and I have driven it at Father's Day roadster swap and a 4th of July parade etc. I have nailed down an old army blanket to the roof opening to add originality . all of the wood is original to the car down to the floorboards ( just like when it left the factory) . This old ford coupe looks like a barn find , but has the advantage of a restored chassis and drivetrain. I have priced it to sell with a reserve below 10k .
